When it comes to a flawless manicure, it all starts with the right base. It's the foundation that ensures adhesion, durability, and the health of the natural nail. In this Bases and Rubber Bases 1944 category, discover a professional selection of high-performance base coats, designed for both passionate beginners and experienced nail technicians. Whether you're looking for a vegan base, a vitamin-enriched base, an easy-to-remove peel-off option, or a colored rubber base for quick and long-lasting manicures, you’ll find exactly what you need with the innovative range from 1944 Paris. Designed to meet today’s high standards in nail care, 1944 bases stand out thanks to their HEMA and DI-HEMA-free formulas, which are gentle on the natural nail, and textures that make application smooth, precise, and enjoyable. Each base serves a specific purpose: care, adhesion, longevity, or instant aesthetic results thanks to tinted rubber formulas.

Base Gel Vegan Classic 1944 Paris: the go-to clean and effective base
This gel base is a must-have that works with all types of nail enhancements — builder gel, color gel, or even gel polish. Thanks to its self-leveling fluid texture, it spreads effortlessly without running or flooding the cuticles, even for beginners. Its main strength? A respectful, 100% vegan formula that is free from harsh chemicals while offering excellent adhesion. Once applied, it preps the nail for long-lasting wear and smoothes the surface for a flawless finish under color or builder gel. How to use: Apply a thin layer to a properly prepped nail (buffed and dehydrated), then cure under LED lamp for 60 seconds. Follow with your chosen builder or color gel.

Vitamin E Base 1944: a care-infused base for fragile nails
Perfect for soft, brittle, or damaged nails, this base enriched with Vitamin E combines the benefits of a strong base coat with a nail care treatment. Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that strengthens and nourishes the nail from the very first step. Its lightweight texture provides even coverage while ensuring optimal adhesion of gel polish. Free from HEMA, DI-HEMA, and irritating ingredients, it is gentle enough for sensitive nails and helps prevent breakage, ridges, and splitting while enhancing the overall durability of your manicure. How to use: Apply a thin, even layer and cure for 60 seconds under LED light. This creates a protective barrier on the natural nail before applying polish or gel.

Peel-Off Base 1944: the quick & easy solution for temporary manicures
The peel-off base from 1944 Paris is a true innovation thanks to its milky texture, skin-friendly formula, and incredible versatility. Designed for creative nail artists and beginners who want easy removal, it can be used in two ways: as a temporary base on the nail or as a protective barrier around the cuticles. As a base, it offers a hassle-free removal alternative. It air-dries in about 1 minute 30 seconds (faster with a thin coat), becomes transparent, and peels off in one clean piece using tweezers. Ideal for training, trial runs, or short-term nail looks. Applied around the skin, it works as an anti-overflow barrier during polish, stamping, or nail art applications. Remove in one go for a mess-free result. How to use:

• Apply an even layer on the nail surface or around the cuticles.
• Let air-dry (approx. 90 seconds) until fully transparent.
• Proceed with your desired manicure: polish, gel, nail art, etc.
• To remove, lift an edge and peel off the film with tweezers.

Tips: Close the bottle tightly after each use and store at room temperature. Avoid freezing temperatures (product may solidify below 0°C).

Rubber Bases 1944: tinted, thick & self-leveling 2-in-1 bases
The standout product in this category is undoubtedly the Rubber Base from 1944 Paris. This semi-thick base is a must for those seeking fast, durable, and effortlessly chic manicures. Its milky, elastic texture makes it easy to apply — even for short extensions (up to 1 cm). Thanks to its self-leveling formula, it evens out the nail surface, fills in imperfections, and creates a smooth, flawless finish. No residue is left after curing, so you can jump straight to your next step without wiping. Another big plus: the color options. Available in a range of soft, trendy shades (rosy, nude, beige, milky white…), the Rubber Base can be worn alone for a natural look or used as a strong base layer under polish. How to use:

• Prepare the natural nail (buff, dehydrate, sanitize).
• Apply a thin first layer, cure for 60 seconds under LED or 120 seconds under UV.
• Apply a second coat for extra strength and smoothness, then cure again.
• If needed, file edges and apply top coat for a glossy finish.

Removal: 10-minute soak-off with acetone and foil wraps. Free from HEMA and DI-HEMA, this base is ideal for sensitive nails and clients with known allergies. It's also perfect for those in a hurry or wanting a polished natural look in fewer steps.
