Prep & Liquids

The invisible essentials of a lasting application

HEYLOVE technical liquids: acid-free Ultra Bond primer, pH Bond dehydrator, alkaline Cuti Remover and Brush Care maintenance solution.

pH Bond dehydrates and balances the nail's pH; Ultra Bond, an acid-free primer, maximises adhesion without aggression; alkaline Cuti Remover softens cuticles for a clean manicure; Brush Care cleans and preserves your gel brushes.

Four bottles to keep on the desk at all times, the difference between ten days and three weeks of wear.

The full protocol takes under a minute per hand: cleanser, pH Bond, 30 seconds of air drying, an ultra-thin layer of Ultra Bond, and the nail is ready for the base. Both bottles last several months of daily salon use.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a primer before gel polish?

Yes, on most nails: the dehydrator + primer duo is what separates a ten-day wear from a three-week wear. pH Bond removes moisture and oily residue; Ultra Bond builds an adhesion bridge between keratin and base. It is essential on oily or lifting-prone nails.

What is the difference between an acid and acid-free primer?

An acid-free primer like Ultra Bond works by chemical affinity, without etching the nail surface: it suits every nail, including thin and sensitive ones. Acid primers, more aggressive, are now reserved for extreme cases and increasingly rare in salons.
