Cat Eye Effect

Cat Eye: autumn's signature velvet effect

HEYLOVE Cat Eye polishes create a deep, velvety cat-eye effect with magnetic pigments: a beam of light that moves with every gesture.

The Textile and Cats collections decline the magnetic effect in deep, powdery shades, the must-have of autumn-winter manicures. Simply hold the HEYLOVE magnet over the uncured polish to draw the reflection: stripe, diagonal or full velvet.

Dense pigmentation, 1-to-2-coat application, TPO-free CPNP-certified formulas. Remember to add the double-sided Nail Magnet to your order.

The technique: apply the shade, then, before curing, hold the magnet 1-2 mm above the nail for 3 to 5 seconds to move the pigments. A vertical central stripe for the classic effect, a diagonal for a dynamic look, or a close sweep across the whole surface for full velvet, then cure immediately.

Frequently asked questions

How do you create a cat-eye effect on nails?

Apply a magnetic cat eye polish over your base, then hold the magnet 1-2 mm above the nail for 3 to 5 seconds before curing: the metallic pigments migrate and draw a beam of light. Cure immediately for 60 seconds to lock the effect. A double-sided magnet lets you vary the pattern: stripe, diagonal or velvet.

What is the nail trend for autumn-winter?

The velvet nails effect, created with magnetic cat-eye polishes, is the season's headline trend: a soft, deep finish reminiscent of velvet, worn in burgundy, chocolate, pine green and plum. HEYLOVE's Textile and Cats collections cover exactly that palette.
