ONAIL: nail equipment built for the pace of a salon

NC Beauty Pro is an official ONAIL distributor in France. ONAIL designs professional equipment for nail technicians, with a resolutely technological approach: few references, each one pushed far in terms of finish and onboard electronics. The range opens here with the ONAIL Nail Drill Pro Max, rated up to 50,000 revolutions per minute, and will soon be joined by a new generation of curing lamp.

Who is ONAIL?

ONAIL is developed by Shenzhen Onail Technology, a Chinese company which states it was founded in 2012 and first became known for curing lamps before extending its catalogue to filing equipment. The manufacturer claims an approach in which technology serves nail health and working comfort, rather than speed alone.

For the European market, the brand relies on a warehouse in Germany, a warranty extended to 2 years — longer than the one applied on its other markets — and the creation of a European service centre. That commitment, as much as the product itself, is what decided us to stock the brand: with electrical equipment, the after-sales promise matters as much as the spec sheet.

ONAIL, O NAIL: one and the same brand

You will come across both spellings depending on the manufacturer's documents: ONAIL as one word in product names, O NAIL as two words in corporate documents. It is the same company and the same equipment. On this page we use ONAIL.

The ONAIL Nail Drill Pro Max

Available in two versions, with one or two handpieces, this is a cordless nail drill with a lithium-polymer battery, recharged over USB-C, with a professional 3 mm chuck and a set of bits included. Its speed range runs from 0 to 50,000 revolutions per minute, and it offers two distinct working modes.

It also features forward and reverse rotation, essential for working on a left hand as comfortably as on a right hand, and a display showing actual speed and battery level. The handpiece rests on an anti-drop magnetic holder between movements.

The manufacturer states vibration-free operation with no drop in speed under pressure. These are manufacturer claims: we will test them ourselves and publish our measurements, including if they prove us wrong.

Coming soon: the new ONAIL curing lamp

The manufacturer is finalising a new generation of lamp, with a completely redesigned LED system and announced for markedly faster curing than current models. It will replace the previous generation on the European market, which is why we do not stock the lamps currently being run down. We will publish its full specifications as soon as the technical documentation is available.

How it works in practice

You have a single point of contact: us. You do not need to contact the manufacturer — we handle every step.

1. Contact our customer service with your order number and a description of the problem. A photo or a short video speeds things up considerably.
2. We assess the fault with you, often within a few exchanges: some cases are settled without a return.
3. If the warranty applies, the device is replaced.
4. We take care of all dealings with the manufacturer.

What is not covered

• Device dismantled, modified or repaired by an unauthorised third party
• Damage resulting from use not in accordance with the manual: drops, impacts, immersion
• Connection to an unsuitable voltage
• Normal wear of consumables, in particular drill bits
• Cosmetic damage not affecting operation, such as scratches

These exclusions are those set by the manufacturer under its commercial warranty. They do not in any way reduce your statutory rights, which apply automatically.

Frequently asked questions about ONAIL

What is the difference between the two Pro Max versions?

Only the number of handpieces changes: electronics, motor, battery and performance are identical. The two-handpiece version lets you keep a shaping bit and a finishing bit mounted at the same time.

Is the ONAIL drill cordless?

Yes. It has a 2,150 mAh lithium-polymer battery and charges over USB-C, with no proprietary adapter.

Do other brands' bits fit an ONAIL drill?

The chuck is 3 mm, the most widespread professional standard. We are currently testing compatibility with the Staleks and ÜLKA bits we distribute, and will publish the results.

What speed should I work at?

It depends on the movement and the surface. Beginner mode, capped at 30,000 rpm, exists precisely so you can learn without risking heat build-up on the nail. Our usage guide details recommended speeds step by step.
