ÜLKA Premium 2.0 Dust Collectors

The ÜLKA Premium 2.0 category features the new generation of one of the brand’s best-selling models: professional nail dust collectors redesigned to capture dust where it is created, right under the e-file, without cluttering the workstation. The range comes in two formats: tabletop (no installation) and built-in (integrated into the table).

This generation is built on the Human Engineering principle: the equipment is designed around the nail technician’s real workflow, not the other way round. Redesigned grille, lower housing, reworked suction system. To understand the criteria that really matter (formats, useful power, noise, maintenance), see the pillar page: Professional nail dust collector: complete guide 2026.

Two Premium 2.0 versions: choose based on your table

Start with the format, then adapt it to your workflow:

• Premium 2.0 tabletop: placed directly on the worktable, no cut-out. Its housing, only 10.6 cm high, keeps the client’s hand in a natural position. Ideal for non-modifiable tables, rented cabins, shared stations or training. See: ÜLKA tabletop dust collectors and Complete tabletop guide 2026.
• Premium 2.0 built-in: integrated into the table (21.4 × 19.3 cm cut-out). Only the flat grille stays visible, everything else disappears under the worktop: more room for the lamp, brushes and products. See: ÜLKA built-in dust collectors and Complete built-in guide 2026.

What changes in this generation

The key upgrade is the redesigned grille with a large suction area, which directs the airflow towards the filing zone. With an air speed of up to 4.4 m/s, the Premium 2.0 effectively captures fine dust during filing and during gel polish, gel or acrylic removal with an e-file. On the built-in version, the flat steel grille is held by magnets: it stays put during the service, its smooth edges do not catch on gloves, and it lifts off in one movement for cleaning. That version also features HEPA filtration for the finest particles.

Tabletop or built-in: the Premium 2.0 comparison

Both versions share the same capture logic (4.4 m/s, redesigned grille, 5-year warranty). The difference is installation, available table surface and noise level.

Pro tips: placement, routine, maintenance

Whatever the format, real efficiency depends on placement + filtration + maintenance:

• work with the filing area above the grille, at the point of emission,
• switch the unit on before filing or buffing,
• clean the filter daily in intensive use, and replace it roughly every three months.

Where the Premium 2.0 sits in the ÜLKA range

The Premium 2.0 (also written ULKA Premium 2.0) succeeds the Premium X2F and sits above the compact Nano and Handy models. It is the logical choice for a professional station used all day long, with a 5-year warranty. To compare every model: ÜLKA dust collectors.
