What the integration changes
On a standard setup, the e-file comes with its own control unit: a box the size of a pencil case, sitting to one side, wired to the mains on one end and to the handpiece on the other. That box exists purely to power and regulate the motor.

Maintenance
- Every day, dust the filter dry, with a soft brush or an air blower. This is the habit that determines how long the unit lasts.
- Never use water on the filter medium: moisture opens the fibres and the filter stops holding fine particles.
- Wipe the grille and the body with a soft cloth, without abrasive products.
- Replace the filter roughly every 3 months, or sooner if suction drops.
- Clean the handpiece chuck at the end of each day and check that the bit locks without play.
