Florence Beige sits in the darker third of the Bella Italia gradient. A frankly warm beige, described by the brand as a warm beige, which leaves the register of the discreet nude for that of the assertive neutral.

Shaking the bottle is not a decorative gesture

The HEYLOVE routine explicitly calls for shaking the bottle before use, and this is the only range where that instruction appears. On a highly pigmented polish, pigment settles at rest: without shaking, the first application draws off a depleted liquid and the bottom of the bottle gradually becomes unusable. A few seconds are enough, but they determine how consistent the colour stays from one set to the next.

How to apply it

After pH Bond HEYLOVE and Ultra Bond HEYLOVE left to air dry, lay down a thin coat of Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear and cure for 30 seconds in a 48 W LED lamp. Shake, then apply Florence Beige in one thin coat, 60 seconds. Add a second coat only if the finish is not perfectly even: its pigment density often makes the second coat unnecessary, which keeps the set thin.

When to suggest it

This is an autumn and winter shade, one that accompanies darker clothing and hands on which a pale beige would look washed out. It also works year-round on deeper skin tones, where it extends the hand instead of cutting across it. In pedicure its warmth suits feet still holding a tan at the start of the cold season, and wear there is generally longer than on the hands, which justifies the price of the service without difficulty. Just remember to flag the nuance: on the feet this warm beige reads markedly deeper than on the hands, a gap that often surprises. On short nails it stays sober and easy to wear; on longer shapes it gains presence without ever becoming demonstrative.

This formula contains neither HEMA nor Di-HEMA, so it falls outside the European restriction that reserves those two substances for professional use.
