Two sides, two jobs
The 80 side bites the hardest, removing a large amount of product from acrylic or gel. The 100 side files artificial nails, corrects shape, reduces length and preps the surface before extensions. As for the shape, the straight edge handles length with precision, while the curved edge follows the cuticle area and side walls.

Best kept for artificial nails
These very coarse grits are not suitable for bare natural nails: for those, reach for 180 grit or finer. Use each file on one client only, then throw it away. Keep the pack somewhere dry, between 5 and 25 °C and away from any heat source, so the abrasive keeps all its qualities.
