One of the rare browns that does not harden fair hands

That is the usual objection against brown shades: on very pale skin they create a hard contrast. The pink contained in this nuance corrects that flaw by bringing the colour closer to the natural undertone of the skin. As a result it works as well on fair skin as on deeper skin, which is rare in this family.

How to apply it

Degrease thoroughly with pH Bond HEYLOVE, lay the acid-free primer Ultra Bond HEYLOVE on the free edge and let the liquid dry completely. Apply a coat of Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear as a foundation, cure for 30 seconds, then lay one or two coats of Flow Base to cure for 60 seconds in a UV or LED lamp before finishing with the top coat.

Who to recommend it to

Clients whose professional setting demands sobriety but who refuse to give up colour. It is also a shade that ages well at the regrowth, its closeness to the nail colour softening the line at the cuticle.

When to suggest it

All year round, with a peak in autumn where its density agrees with seasonal wardrobes.

Which top to finish with

Gloss keeps the brown warm; a matte finish calms it and makes it markedly more contemporary.
