Flow Base HEYLOVE Casual: the greyed lilac of the Everyday collection

Casual brings the cool note missing from a series dominated by pinks and warm browns. A lilac heavily softened with grey, almost neutral, which stays natural while introducing a nuance the other references do not have.

A lilac neutralises yellow

This is the colour wheel principle and it applies directly at the desk. Mauve sits opposite yellow: laid on a naturally yellowed nail, a greyed lilac visually softens that cast where a warm beige accentuates it. On a client whose nails have been marked by repeated dark polishes or by smoking, this shade does work the other shades of the collection cannot do.

How to apply it

Degrease thoroughly with pH Bond HEYLOVE, lay the acid-free primer Ultra Bond HEYLOVE on the free edge and wait until the liquid is completely dry. Apply a coat of Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear as a foundation, cure for 30 seconds, then lay one or two coats of Flow Base. Count 60 seconds of curing in a UV or LED lamp before the top coat.

On which hands it shows best

It plays fully on cool skin tones, where the mauve naturally extends the visible veins at the wrist. On warm skin it stays wearable but reads more as a colour than as a nude.

With which decoration

Silver linework and fine white lines suit it better than gold, unlike the warm shades of the collection: its cool cast agrees naturally with cool metals.

When to suggest it

All year round, with no marked seasonality. Its corrective quality makes it useful in every season, independently of trends.

Which top to finish with

Gloss keeps the lilac legible; a matte finish reinforces its mineral character.

How many bottles to plan for

Cool shades sell to a specific clientele but sell steadily. One bottle is enough to start.
