Frame Gel HEYLOVE Mocha: the cool coffee beige of the Frame Gel range

Mocha brings the cool note that was missing from the deeper nudes of the series. A softened coffee beige, with no golden warmth, which stays natural while introducing a nuance the other references do not have.

Telling the four deep nudes apart

The range has four shades very close in lightness, and the confusion is immediate in a catalogue. They differ only in temperature and cast. Mocha is the coolest, frankly coffee. Frame Gel HEYLOVE Cream Tan is the classic nude, neutral to slightly warm. Frame Gel HEYLOVE Ash Rose leans towards ashy pink. Frame Gel HEYLOVE Dusty Rose is the rosiest of the four. On a photographed chart they all look alike; laid side by side on tips in daylight, each reveals its cast.

How to apply it

After filing and careful degreasing, the dehydrator dries for thirty seconds. The base goes on with rubbing motions, is levelled, then cures for 30 seconds. Dispense the material, apply the Frame Gel as an architectural layer or on forms, flash for 30 seconds per nail then one to two minutes with both hands before removing the sticky layer.

On which hands it shows best

It plays fully on cool skin tones, for whom golden beiges look yellow. On warm skin it stays wearable but reads more as a colour than as a nude, which is better announced before starting the set.

When to suggest it

From September to March mainly, where its density agrees with seasonal wardrobes. In a limited assortment it earns its place through its singularity rather than its depth.

With which decoration

Silver linework and fine white lines suit it better than gold: its cool cast agrees with cool metals.

How many jars to plan for

Cool nudes sell to a specific clientele but sell steadily. One jar is enough to start.

This formula contains neither HEMA nor Di-HEMA, so it falls outside the European restriction that reserves those two substances for professional use.
