Pastel Yellow or Vanilla

Both are creamy and blur together in a catalogue. Smart Gel HEYLOVE Vanilla is an off-white, barely warmed. Pastel Yellow contains markedly more yellow and reads as a colour, however soft. Laid side by side on tips in daylight the gap is immediate; described over the phone they are indistinguishable. It is exactly the kind of pair that demands a physical display.

How to apply it

After filing and dust removal with cleanser, dry with pH Bond HEYLOVE and allow thirty seconds of evaporation. Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear goes on as a thin coat then is completed to smooth the surface, and cures in 30 seconds. Remove its dispersion layer. Pastel Yellow goes on as an architectural layer, 30-second flash then one minute with both hands. Remove the sticky layer, refine the free edge, then apply the top coat for one to two minutes.

When to suggest it

From May to September mainly, where its softness accompanies light outfits and tanned skin. Outside that period it remains usable as an accent on one or two fingers among the neutral shades of the range.

On which lengths

On short nails the colour stays measured; on medium length it gains surface and becomes markedly more visible.
