PODO 10 - 7mm: the Staleks heeled nippers for keratinized areas
Within the Staleks podology range, the PODO 10 is the one with real bite. Its 7 mm cutting part, straight with a slight angle, ends in a heel: this small protrusion grips thickened tissue firmly and lets you tackle localized hyperkeratosis with precision.
Which treatments is it for?
These nippers are designed to remove corns and small areas of keratinization, and to treat crack edges, lateral nail folds and keratinized parts of the cuticle. Thanks to the bevelled edges, your field of vision stays clear and you can see exactly what you are cutting.

The PODO 10 is compatible with all types of sterilization and disinfection (autoclave, dry heat sterilizer) when you follow the manufacturer's guidelines. The cap itself is not sterilizable: take it off before the cycle and pop it back on to store the nippers in your kit. Avoid acidic or alkaline products and leave resharpening to a professional, so the cut stays crisp treatment after treatment.
