Brush Care Solution HEYLOVE: maintaining brushes without damaging them

Brush Care Solution is a maintenance solution designed to remove residues of gel, gel polish, base and top coat left in the bristles. It dissolves them gently, where aggressive cleaning ends up stiffening the fibre, splaying the tip and making the brush unusable.

The real cost of a badly maintained brush

A brush that loses its tip no longer draws a clean line. On a liner, that shows immediately. On a gel brush, cured residue trapped deep in the bristles creates grains in the material and surface irregularities. Replacing brushes frequently costs more than regular maintenance, and a deteriorated brush wastes time on every single set.

How to use it

Open the cap and remove the silicone stop from the pump. Dispense the quantity needed, then dip the brush so the bristles are completely soaked. Wipe away the dissolved residue with a lint-free wipe or absorbent paper. Close the cap after use to prevent evaporation. The operation is done at the end of a set, brush by brush.

How often

After every manicure, or at the very least at the end of the day. Regular cleaning prevents deep build-up, which is what eventually destroys the tip. A brush cleaned every evening keeps its shape for years; the same brush cleaned once a week does not.

Never leave a brush in the light

A brush loaded with gel and left on the workstation cures slowly under ambient light. Cleaning it afterwards becomes impossible. Get into the habit of cleaning immediately after use, then storing the brush away from light: those are the two gestures that determine how long it lasts.
