Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear: the clear rubber base of the HEYLOVE routine

Rubber Base Clear is HEYLOVE's clear adhesion base, and the best-selling reference in the brand's catalogue. It goes on the prepared natural nail, before colour, and forms the layer on which the durability of the whole set depends. The formula is of medium consistency, elastic hardness and moderate acidity.

What an elastic texture changes

A rubber base stays supple after curing. It follows the micro-flexions of the nail instead of resisting them, which limits lifting at the stress point and cracking on thin nails. Its medium consistency makes it easy to spread without running towards the cuticles, a balance you appreciate when working through ten fingers. And its complete transparency guarantees it never interferes with the shade applied over it.

How to apply it

Apply one or two coats of Rubber Base to the prepared nail, and cure each coat for 60 seconds under a UV or LED lamp. Beforehand, degrease the plate with pH Bond HEYLOVE and apply the acid-free primer Ultra Bond HEYLOVE if adhesion is difficult. Then continue with a Tint Base HEYLOVE or a Gel Polish HEYLOVE, followed by the top coat of your choice.

Which format to choose

The 15 ml suits occasional use or a first look at the brand. The 30 ml is aimed at technicians who use it as a standard base and want to reduce the cost per millilitre. The 30 ml with pump targets the same intensive use but changes the handling: dispensing is metered, without unscrewing the bottle or tying up a hand, which saves time across a day of back-to-back appointments.

Storage

The product keeps for 36 months, and 24 months after opening. Store the bottle closed, between 15 and 25 degrees, away from direct light. That is worth checking before taking the 30 ml: the larger format only pays off if your workload lets you finish it within two years.
