Gel Polish HEYLOVE Chalk: the peach pink of the Basic collection

Chalk sits just after Sugar in the progression of nudes. A pink softened with a hint of peach, which is enough to warm the hand where very pale nudes can cool it.

Half a tone is enough to change everything

That is the paradox of pale nudes. Between Sugar and Chalk the measured gap is minimal; on the hand it is perfectly visible. The first reads as a very well kept nail, the second as a manicure. That is why a serious colour chart offers several very close nudes: they do not serve the same client, even if they look alike in the bottle.

How to apply it

Cleanse with pH Bond HEYLOVE, lay Ultra Bond HEYLOVE on the edge and let it set in the air. Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear needs 30 to 60 seconds of lamp. Shake, then two thin veils of Chalk, one minute each. Pale nudes reveal the ridges of the plate: sort out the levelling before the colour.

What to pair it with

It makes a very legible progression with Gel Polish HEYLOVE Sugar on the pale side and Gel Polish HEYLOVE Butter on the warm side, on one hand. A very fine gold decoration finds a natural coherence there.

On which hands it shows best

Its warmth makes it particularly flattering on hands reddened by cold or wet work, which it harmonises instead of contrasting. On tanned skin it blends very naturally.

When to suggest it

All year round without difficulty, with a peak in spring. It is one of the references that empty fastest from a colour chart, alongside the classic reds.

How many bottles to plan for

Pale nudes turn over all year, unlike the seasonal colours. This is a reference to keep in duplicate rather than as a single bottle.
