Gel Polish HEYLOVE Grass: the fir green of the Basic collection

Grass occupies the place of the classic dark green. A dense fir, barely bluish, deep enough to dress a hand without joining the near-blacks of the family.

Requests for deep greens collapse in spring and pick up from October, with a peak over the end-of-year holidays. It is a reference to order in September, not in March, at the risk of watching it sit for six months. Conversely, it sells almost by itself once the season arrives.

How to apply it

Dry the plate with pH Bond HEYLOVE, apply Ultra Bond HEYLOVE to the edge and wait for it to set in the open air. Thirty to sixty seconds of lamp for Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear. Shake, then a thin veil of Grass cured for one minute is usually enough for a dense flat colour.

Which top to finish with

Gloss deepens it and gives a very classic lacquered-glass effect. Top HEYLOVE Super Matte turns it into a velvety green, almost textile, far more contemporary and markedly less predictable. Two distinct services from a single bottle.

On which hands it shows best

It suits deeper and tanned skin tones particularly well, where the deep green extends the complexion. On very fair skin it creates a more marked contrast that stays elegant but has to be carried.

What to pair it with

Gold extends its depth and is enough to dress the set without overloading it, a fine liner on a single finger already giving an elegant result. Silver also works, in a cooler and more graphic register.

Who to recommend it to

Clients looking for a winter colour without going to burgundy or black. Dark green is the third option they rarely think of.
