Smart Gel HEYLOVE Petalrain: the assertive pink of the series

Petalrain pushes the pink further than Smart Gel HEYLOVE Haze, which is lighter, and than Dew, simply milky with pink reflections. Here the colour shows, while keeping the semi-transparency that characterises the collection.

The builder gel that replaces the colour

This is its main benefit in the salon and it can be measured. A classic set runs base, builder gel, colour, top: four materials and three cures. With a tinted builder gel that is coloured enough, the colour step disappears. You save several minutes per hand on a service still charged at the same price.

How to apply it

Degrease with pH Bond HEYLOVE, apply Ultra Bond HEYLOVE to the free edge, let it dry. One coat of Rubber Base HEYLOVE as a substrate, then the Smart Gel. Sixty seconds under a UV or LED lamp, then the top coat.

What the shimmer changes at regrowth

A useful point to know. On an opaque colour, the regrowth line is clearly drawn after three weeks. On a semi-transparent shade with shimmer, the transition is far softer because the material lets the nail underneath show and the particles blur the boundary. The set stays presentable longer, which the client attributes to the quality of your work.

Its uses

Extension with forms up to a medium length, reinforcement, repairing a corner, correcting a short square. The gel does not heat up, self-levels and limits buffing.

What to pair it with

It sits naturally with the pink Tint Base shades in the catalogue and serves as a background for light designs, on which its shimmer brings a depth no matte pink can give. On a short nail it avoids the heavy effect of an opaque pink.
