Placing the five reds of the collection

Basic has five and the question will come up in front of your display. From palest to deepest: Gel Polish HEYLOVE Alarm in orange red, Gel Polish HEYLOVE Celebration in raspberry red, Gel Polish HEYLOVE Danger in cherry red, Stop in deep red, then Gel Polish HEYLOVE Devil Wears Prada in burgundy. If you take only two, Alarm and Devil Wears Prada cover both ends of the spectrum.

How to apply it

Drying is done with pH Bond HEYLOVE, the primer Ultra Bond HEYLOVE goes on the edge and sets on its own. Count 30 to 60 seconds of lamp for Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear. Shake, then two thin veils of Stop are better than one thick pass: on deep reds the material tends to build up against the side walls, where it shows at once.

Which top to finish with

A glossy top deepens the red and gives it a lacquered effect. Top HEYLOVE Super Matte turns the shade into a velvety red, almost textile, far more contemporary. Two distinct services from a single bottle, worth showing the client before deciding.

Who to recommend it to

Clients who find bright red too loud but burgundy too dark. It is exactly the compromise they are after without always being able to put it into words, and laying it on a tip is often enough to settle the decision.

On which hands it shows best

Deep red suits every skin tone, which is rare for a shade this intense. On fair hands it brings contrast without harshness, on deeper ones it extends the hand.
