Smart Gel HEYLOVE Aesthetic: the brown taupe of the Smart Gel range

Aesthetic leans towards brown where the other neutrals of the series lean towards pink or mauve. A warm taupe, slightly earthy, which behaves more like a dark nude than an assertive colour.

The gel that does not dull the hand

Many clients ask for a natural strengthening and leave disappointed because the shade has dulled their hands. A warm taupe produces the opposite effect: it brings the colour of the nail closer to that of the skin and lights up the whole. It is the answer to give a client who tells you she has never found a nude that suits her.

How to apply it

File at 180 or with a 100-grit buffer, remove dust with cleanser under the cuticle and in the side grooves, then pH Bond HEYLOVE and thirty seconds of evaporation. A thin coat of Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear worked in by rubbing, completed to obtain a smooth surface, cures in 30 seconds. Remove the dispersion layer. Aesthetic goes on as an architectural layer, 30-second flash then one minute with both hands. Remove the sticky layer before filing and top coat.

Minimal filing, a substantial argument

The brand highlights an extension achievable with very little filing. That point counts twice over: for your own wrist first, on a day with six or seven sets, and for your client's natural nail next, which suffers less damage at each appointment. A material that self-levels properly reduces the sanding work to the strict minimum.

Who to recommend it to

Clients who wear earthy, camel or chocolate wardrobes, and those whose hands are reddened by cold or wet work: the warmth of the taupe harmonises them instead of creating contrast. On deeper skin tones it extends the hand rather than cutting across it.
