The series reads as a progression worth having in mind before ordering. From palest to deepest: Bliss in pale greyed pink, Soft in neutral rosy taupe, Calm in cool greyed mauve, Aesthetic in warm brown taupe, Balanced in rosy brown, then Comfort in frankly coloured old rose. Three well-spread references cover the bulk of requests, provided you choose one pale, one neutral and one deep.

One of the rare browns that does not harden fair hands

That is the usual objection against brown shades: on very pale skin they create a hard contrast. The pink contained in this nuance corrects that flaw by bringing the colour closer to the natural undertone of the skin. As a result it works as well on fair skin as on deeper skin, which is rare in this family of shades.

How to apply it

Prepare the plate with pH Bond HEYLOVE after filing and dust removal, allowing thirty seconds of evaporation. Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear cures in 30 seconds; remove its dispersion layer before continuing. Balanced goes on as an architectural layer, 30-second flash then one minute with both hands together. After removing the sticky layer, always refine the free edge with a file to create thickness, then lay the top coat for one to two minutes. Finally clear the natural nail from under the free edge with a corn-shaped carbide bit.
