Tint Base HEYLOVE Soda: the shimmer greyed white of Pop Drinks

Soda closes the collection on the pale side: a slightly greyed white, milky, in which the silver shimmer almost entirely dissolves. The result evokes frost rather than snow, with a restrained glow that only reveals itself in direct light.

Cool white or warm white, two different manicures

A warm milky white such as Tint Base HEYLOVE Bride softens and brings the set closer to a nude. A greyed white like Soda does the opposite: it cools, distances and gives a more graphic, more contemporary result. On the same client the two produce radically different impressions, and that is a choice to make deliberately rather than at the mercy of whichever bottle is to hand.

How to apply it

After pH Bond HEYLOVE and Ultra Bond HEYLOVE, lay down Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear, cure for 30 seconds, then two coats of Soda at 60 seconds each. As with every white, work in thin, regular layers: build-up shows immediately around the cuticle area.

The starting point for a gradient

Since Soda is the palest of the collection, it naturally forms the first finger of a gradient progressing towards Tint Base HEYLOVE Pink Tonic, then Tint Base HEYLOVE Morse, and finishing on Tint Base HEYLOVE Cola. Four references are enough to offer a complete, coherent service, which limits the initial investment if you are new to the collection.

When it makes the most sense

In winter, where its frosted quality suits darker clothing, and for end-of-year sets, where the silver glow replaces a glitter to advantage without any of its heaviness. It also makes a very clean nail art base for fine, dark linework, which stands out with particular sharpness on a cool, slightly greyed ground. It is also worth keeping in stock all year, since fine dark linework needs a cool, even ground far more often than the seasons suggest.
