On an unlabelled display the client sees eight almost identical tips and concludes that they really are, which cancels the value of the whole collection.

Arrange from coolest to warmest

The progression makes the gaps perceptible. Put the mauves and blue-toned shades on one side, the pinks and peaches on the other: the client then understands there are two registers and not eight variants of the same thing. That ordering is what turns a subtle collection into a selling argument.

How to apply them

Stick each label on the matching tip, on the side without colour, before fixing the tip to the ring or fan. Label as you build: on shades this close, identifying them afterwards is almost impossible.

Plan for neutral lighting
