The Graphite set gathers six 2 g design gels in a run of greys, from the lightest to the deepest, together with three sponges and their holder. This is the kit to pick when your clients lean towards cool, mineral, graphic sets, where browns simply do not work.

What is in the box

Three techniques from one kit

• Sponge ombre : build the gradient in two stages, base shade then colour on the tip.
• Stamping : the dense texture transfers without running across the plate.
• Brush work : lines and motifs stay sharp right up to curing.

How to use it

1. Open the pot and remove the protective seal.
2. Take product through the mesh for a progressive effect, or straight from the pot for stronger colour.
3. Fix the sponge in the holder, lay the base shade and cure.
4. Pick up more colour on the tip for the transition, then cure.
5. Allow 60 seconds per layer under a LED or UV lamp.
6. Finish with a thin layer of clear base, cure, then top coat.

Good to know

These gels cure in daylight, even on an overcast day: close the pots between applications. Excess product lifts off with a clean sponge before curing. The thin base plus top coat finish is what lasts along the edges.
