Terrazzo Gel HEYLOVE #4: the lilac of the range

Terrazzo Gel #4 is the palest of the four. Its lilac pink ground is very lightly saturated and the violet flakes punctuating it stay discreet, giving a result close to rose quartz: a material more than a colour.

The most versatile reference

Its low saturation is its argument. An emerald green or a peachy pink imposes a direction and clashes with certain outfits; a pale lilac goes over almost anything and contradicts nothing. It is the reference that finds its place most often across a week of appointments, including on clients who would never have accepted an assertive colour.

How to apply it

Cured base, thin coat without stretching, a few seconds to settle, one to two minutes under the lamp. Remove the dispersion layer with cleaner before the top coat. On a shade this pale, the cleanliness of the outline near the cuticle shows more than on the dark references: clean up before curing.

Coat density counts double here

A single coat leaves a translucent veil where the nail plate shows through and the flakes seem to float. Two coats densify the ground and make the pattern noticeably more legible. On the dark references that difference is secondary; here it decides the result, and it is worth showing both options on tips.

Minimal design

This is the reference that best stands alone. A full set in Terrazzo #4, with no other design, holds up: the material is enough to occupy the eye. Adding a line of Solid Paint Gel HEYLOVE White or a metallic stroke usually overloads the whole rather than structuring it.
