Gum Gel HEYLOVE White: bonding that becomes design

The Gum Gel White shares the thick consistency and adhesive power of the clear version, with one major difference: it is opaque. The material no longer disappears under the charm, it takes part in the pattern.

When opacity becomes an advantage

This is what separates the two versions. On a classic bonding job you want the gel to be invisible and Gum Gel HEYLOVE Clear is the right choice. But as soon as you work in relief, an opaque white lets you sculpt visible volumes: pearls, drops, patterns in thickness that exist in their own right rather than as a support for an added element.

How to use it

On a finished set, place the required quantity with a brush or spatula. For bonding, set the element and cure immediately. For a raised design, model the shape and go under the lamp: the material does not slump during the working time. No tacky layer after curing.

With powders and glitter

It combines with dry glitter, pigments, gold leaf and chrome powders. On an opaque white background, a chrome powder gives a far denser result than on a clear gel, because the light is reflected instead of passing through. It is a use to show on tips, it cannot be guessed.

White demands evenness

As with any white material, an irregularity in thickness shows immediately because it changes the opacity. Work in small successive quantities rather than a single deposit you then try to level out.

A word on wear

Glitter does not fade, it dulls: the top coat above it scratches, and the sparkle goes with it. That is why the quality of the seal decides how long the set stays impressive, far more than the gel underneath.
