Gel Polish HEYLOVE Kiss: the light pink of the Spring-Summer 2026 collection

Kiss is a frankly luminous light pink with a slightly cool cast. Measuring the tip places it at the same level of lightness as Petal and Gelato: it really is a pastel, simply the most saturated of the six shades in the collection.

An entirely pastel collection

This is the point to know before ordering. The six shades sit within a very narrow band of lightness, from Lychee, the palest, to Berry Punch, the deepest. None is an assertive colour in the way the reds or fuchsias of the catalogue are. This collection addresses a clientele that wants nuance, not contrast, and it is better presented that way than by promising an intensity it does not have.

How to apply it

Dry the plate with pH Bond HEYLOVE, apply Ultra Bond HEYLOVE to the edge and wait for it to set in the open air. Thirty seconds of lamp for Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear. Shake, then Kiss in two thin veils of one minute each: on light pinks, a single pass often lets the nail bed show through.

Kiss or Petal

The two look alike in the bottle and differ in saturation. Petal is greyed, mauve, discreet. Kiss is markedly pinker and brighter, without being any darker. If your client is after colour, it is Kiss; if she is after a coloured neutral, it is Petal.

Which sets it suits

A full coat for a fresh manicure, a coloured French, or a composition with the other pastels of the collection. It also makes a good holiday colour, which shows up in photographs without ever looking excessive. That matters if your clients post their nails when they get home, and it is one of the few pastels that survives a phone camera intact.
