Nail Forms HEYLOVE Square: square building without a traditional form

Upper forms are placed over the nail, builder gel inside, and give the finished shape in a single cure. The square version produces a straight free edge and parallel sides, without having to sculpt them with a brush.

The method that replaced the traditional form

It deserves understanding before you choose. With a classic form, you build the length freehand and evenness depends entirely on your gesture. With an upper form, the curve and the profile come from the mould: your work comes down to dosing the gel correctly. The result is reproducible from finger to finger and from client to client, which is precisely what a traditional form does not guarantee.

How to proceed

Buff with a 100 grit file, dust off and degrease with ethyl alcohol at 96 per cent minimum, apply a dehydrator. Apply Ultra Bond HEYLOVE over the whole plate, then a thin coat of Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear cured for 20 seconds. Choose the size, place the builder gel inside the form, apply it to the nail and cure for one minute under UV or LED. Remove the form by gently pinching the sides, refine with a file or e-file, remove the dispersion layer, then apply colour or top coat.

The printed markers

This is the detail that separates these forms from budget models. The markings show where to place the material to get the right thickness in the right place. Without them, you put too much gel at the stress zone or not enough, and you correct with the file: ten minutes of sanding per hand and a nail thinned exactly where it should be thick.

Reusable, therefore economical

A form washes and is reused several times. On a box of 120 at this price, the cost per set becomes marginal, well below that of tips. It is the argument to put to technicians hesitating to change method.
