Smart Gel HEYLOVE Mist: the lavender of the collection

Mist leaves the register of milky and pink shades that makes up the rest of the series. Its lavender base, run through with blue-green and silver particles, gives an identifiable shade that nevertheless stays semi-transparent.

A colour missing from most salons

Tinted builder gels are almost all nude, milky or pink, because those are the majority requests. A client who wants colour therefore moves on to polish, which adds a step. A semi-transparent lavender lets you serve that demand within the builder gel itself: one material, one cure, and the colour is there.

How to apply it

Degrease with pH Bond HEYLOVE, apply Ultra Bond HEYLOVE to the free edge and let it dry. One coat of Rubber Base HEYLOVE as a substrate, then the Smart Gel for extension or reinforcement. Sixty seconds under a UV or LED lamp, then the top coat.

Density sets the intensity

This is the point to know about this shade. In a thin coat the lavender stays a veil and the nail plate shows through clearly. In a heavier coat the colour asserts itself and the blue-green shimmer comes forward. Show both densities on tips: they are two different services from a single bottle.

Its uses

Extension with upper or lower forms up to a medium length, reinforcement of natural nails, repairing a broken corner, correcting an uneven short square. The gel does not heat up during curing and self-levels, which limits buffing.

A word on wear

Glitter does not fade, it dulls: the top coat above it scratches, and the sparkle goes with it. That is why the quality of the seal decides how long the set stays impressive, far more than the gel underneath.
