Smart Gel HEYLOVE Santero: the pink that leans towards peach

Santero is the only one of the Sparkling pinks to shift to the warm side. Its peachy pink base, lit by fine glitter, clearly separates it from Rose and Asti, which stay in the cool pink register.

Why the temperature of a pink matters

This is the question to ask before offering a nude shade, and few ranges let you answer it. A golden or deep hand wears a cool pink badly: the shade cuts across instead of extending the finger. A peachy pink, on the other hand, blends. Conversely, on a very fair pink-toned hand, peach can look yellow. Having both temperatures in the same collection lets you adjust instead of making do.

How to apply it

Shake the bottle before use, the particles settle. Degrease with pH Bond HEYLOVE, apply Ultra Bond HEYLOVE to the free edge, let it dry. One coat of Rubber Base HEYLOVE as a substrate, then the Smart Gel. Sixty seconds under a UV or LED lamp, then the top coat.

Its period

Warm nudes work better from late spring to autumn, when hands are tanned and wardrobes turn to warm shades. In midwinter, on paler skin, Rose or Asti regain the advantage. It is a rotation to anticipate in your orders.

As a french base

Its warmth makes it an interesting base for a natural french on tanned skin: the white smile stands out without the hard contrast a cool pink would produce on that kind of hand.

A word on wear

Glitter does not fade, it dulls: the top coat above it scratches, and the sparkle goes with it. That is why the quality of the seal decides how long the set stays impressive, far more than the gel underneath.
