Smart Gel HEYLOVE Bliss: the greyed pink of the Smart Gel range

Bliss crosses the threshold between the milky gel and the frankly tinted ones. A pink softened with grey, very pale, which brings a rosy nuance without ever reading as a colour applied on the nail.

The transition shade of the range

It holds an interesting commercial position. A client used to the transparent or the milky finds a familiar nuance that is slightly more present; a client who wears coloured gels finds the most discreet version of what she already knows. It is exactly the reference to offer when someone wants to change without changing.

What grey brings to a pink

A pure pink reads as a pretty manicure. The same pink softened with grey reads as a considered manicure. The difference is one of register rather than quality, but it corresponds to two distinct clienteles. Bliss is the shade to bring out for an adult client who refuses pink on principle and whom beige nonetheless does not suit.

How to apply it

File at 180, remove dust with cleanser insisting under the cuticle, then dry with pH Bond HEYLOVE and wait thirty seconds. Lay Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear as a thin coat worked in by rubbing, completed to smooth, and cure for 30 seconds. Remove the dispersion layer of the base before continuing. Apply Bliss as an architectural layer, flash for 30 seconds, then cure both hands together for one minute.

A material that is flexible or rigid depending on thickness

This property is useful to know when dosing your work. In a thin layer, the gel stays flexible and follows the movements of the natural nail. At one millimetre of thickness it becomes rigid with a slight capacity to absorb shock. In other words, the same material serves both discreet strengthening and structured building: you decide the final behaviour through the thickness you lay down.

On which hands it shows best

Its paleness makes it particularly flattering on fair and medium skin tones, where it lights the hand without hard contrast. On deeper skin it stays wearable but shows more, which is not necessarily a flaw.
