Smart Gel HEYLOVE Rose: the soft pink of the series

Rose is a light glittered pink, close to Asti but slightly pinker and less pale. The two shades are hard to tell apart in the bottle and clearly different on the nail: it is a nuance to show on tips rather than try to describe.

The pink worn by clients who refuse pink

The phrasing is paradoxical but the case is common. Many clients reject pink because they associate it with a register that feels too young or too marked. A semi-transparent light pink with fine glitter does not read as a pink: it reads as a healthy nail. The distinction happens in the result, not in the argument.

How to apply it

Shake before every pick-up. Degrease with pH Bond HEYLOVE, Ultra Bond HEYLOVE on the free edge, dry completely. One coat of Rubber Base HEYLOVE, then the Smart Gel for extension or reinforcement. Sixty seconds under the lamp, then the top coat.

On short nails

It works particularly well on short, well-filed nails, where its lightness avoids the heavy effect an opaque pink produces on a small surface. The glitter occupies the eye where length is lacking, giving a result that looks more worked than it actually is.

What the material is worth

Liquid and self-levelling, it reduces filing. The gel does not heat up during curing. Medium elasticity, suited to short and medium lengths with upper or lower forms.

When to offer it

It suits all year round, which is not true of the collection's more marked shades. It is the core bottle to keep in permanent stock, the one to fall back on when the client does not know what she wants.
