Smart Gel HEYLOVE Prosecco: the lilac of the collection

Prosecco rests on a very light pastel lilac, punctuated with fine glitter. In a series that mostly plays out pinks, beiges and whites, it is the only shade that brings a real colour while staying pastel.

The colour nobody thinks to offer

This is a salon observation. A client who wants colour asks for red, pink or dark, because those are the registers she knows. Pastel lilac is almost never requested spontaneously, and yet it pleases the vast majority of those who are shown it. It is a shade to lay out on tips and let people see, rather than to describe.

How to apply it

Shake the bottle before use. Degrease with pH Bond HEYLOVE, apply Ultra Bond HEYLOVE to the free edge and let it dry. One coat of Rubber Base HEYLOVE as a substrate, then the Smart Gel for extension or reinforcement. Sixty seconds under a UV or LED lamp, then the top coat.

Its season

Pastel lilac works markedly better in spring and early summer, the period when clients leave winter's warm shades without wanting to move to bright ones. Plan your stock accordingly rather than ordering it in equal quantity all year.

What the material is worth

A liquid consistency that self-levels and limits buffing, medium elasticity suited to short and medium lengths, no heat during curing. The uses are those of the whole range: extension with forms, reinforcement, repairing a corner, correcting a shape.

A word on wear

Glitter does not fade, it dulls: the top coat above it scratches, and the sparkle goes with it. That is why the quality of the seal decides how long the set stays impressive, far more than the gel underneath.
