Tint Base HEYLOVE Mushroom: the rosy brown of the Forest collection

Mushroom lives up to its name. A brown run through with pink, earthy and slightly greyed, which colours the set visibly while staying in the natural register.

Blossom or Mushroom

Both are rosy neutrals and look alike in the bottle. Tint Base HEYLOVE Blossom is markedly lighter and is worn as an absence of colour. Mushroom is denser and is noticed as a choice. On the same hand, the first is forgotten, the second dresses. Laid side by side on tips in daylight the gap is obvious; described over the phone they are indistinguishable.

A brown that ages well at the regrowth

This is an advantage rarely put forward on deeper shades. The further a colour moves from the natural shade of the nail, the more the break shows at the cuticle after three weeks. A rosy brown nonetheless stays close enough to the skin undertone for the line to soften. For a client who stretches her appointments, this argument weighs more than the nuance itself.

How to apply it

Degrease with pH Bond HEYLOVE, lay the acid-free primer Ultra Bond HEYLOVE on the free edge and let it dry completely. Apply a coat of Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear as a foundation, cure for 30 seconds, then one or two coats of Tint Base to cure for 60 seconds in a UV or LED lamp before the top coat.

When to suggest it

From September to March mainly, where its earthy warmth accompanies seasonal wardrobes. It also works very well at the end of summer on tanned hands, where it extends the complexion without a break.

When to suggest it

All year round, with no marked seasonality. Light neutrals sell in every season, unlike colours tied to a wardrobe.
