Tips Stickers HEYLOVE Awaking: the shades of waking up

The envelope covers the six labels of the Awaking collection: Aqua, Lotus, Wind, Sand, Aloe and Terra.

A collection of powdery shades

The six nuances share one common feature: they are all softened by a share of white or grey, which gives them a powdery quality. A blue-grey, a pink, a pale mauve, a sand beige, an almond green and a pinkish taupe. That visual texture is what unifies the series, more than the colour family.

Powdery calms the contrast

This is a criterion to watch in winter and on clients whose hands work. A saturated shade applied to a hand reddened by cold sharpens the redness because it extends it. A powdery shade, whose share of white lowers the saturation, soothes that contrast instead. These six references are therefore to be offered precisely when hands are marked.

How to apply them

Stick each label on the matching tip, on the side without colour, before fixing the tip to the ring or fan. Label as you build the chart: on shades this softened, identifying them afterwards means comparing each tip to the bottle.

The spring season

These colours match the moment when clients leave winter's warm shades without wanting to move to bright ones. It is a short but real transition, between March and May, and that is when this display works best.

Show them as a full set

Unlike frank colours, these shades do not lend themselves to an accent on one finger: their interest lies in the evenness they give the whole hand. Present them as such rather than as design colours.

A word on wear

Glitter does not fade, it dulls: the top coat above it scratches, and the sparkle goes with it. That is why the quality of the seal decides how long the set stays impressive, far more than the gel underneath.
