Tips Stickers HEYLOVE Gypsum Gel: the chart of the textured gels

A textured gel is not shown like a colour

That is what makes this chart different from all the others. What matters in a Gypsum Gel is not its shade but its relief: the material creates an irregular plaster effect that catches the light. A tip covered in a smooth flat coat shows nothing of what the product does. Work the texture on your samples exactly as you would on a client's nail.

Four shades, one single effect

The logic of this range is the reverse of the colour collections. Here the four references do the same thing and differ only by the background: a white, a black, a grey and a beige. What the chart has to demonstrate is the behaviour of the relief, and the four variants serve to show how it behaves on light and on dark.

How to apply them

Stick each label on the matching tip, on the side that does not carry the material, before fixing the tip to the ring or fan. Label as you build rather than afterwards.

Black needs raking light

On a black Gypsum, the relief only shows in oblique light: head-on, the texture disappears into the dark mass. Tilt the tip rather than presenting it flat, or place the display so that the light catches it from the side.

A design that sells as an extra

It is a service in its own right, charged beyond the colour set, and it takes little time once the movement is learnt. A visible chart is what triggers the request, because no client thinks to ask for an effect she does not know exists.
