The envelope covers the eight labels of the Smart Gels in the Tactile collection: Vanilla, Pastel yellow, Hug, Foamy, Warm, Suede, Wet and Relief.

Names that describe a sensation, not a colour

That is the distinctive feature of this series and the very argument for labelling. Hug, Foamy and Relief evoke a touch or a state, never a shade. Nobody guesses that a Suede is a pinkish brown or that a Wet is a blue. These names work in the shop because they intrigue, and become unmanageable at the station as soon as the bottle is out of sight.

A builder gel is shown in thickness

A reminder that applies to every Smart Gel. These are not colours but building materials: what matters is the result in an architectural layer, not in a veil. Build your tips with a real thickness, otherwise you are showing something other than what the client will wear.

How to apply them

Stick each label on the matching tip, on the side that does not carry the material, before fixing the tip to the ring or fan. Label as you build rather than at the end.

Three registers in a single envelope

Vanilla and Pastel yellow open on yellowed lights, Hug, Foamy, Warm and Suede occupy the pinks and browns, Wet and Relief bring two blues. Group them by family on the display rather than in the order of the envelope.

Check your range first

This envelope covers eight references, some of them recent. Make sure the matching bottles are in your catalogue before building the full chart, so you do not display shades you cannot supply.
