The envelope brings together seven gel polish labels: Ristretto, Jam, Grapes, Iris, Woodland, Velvet and Rhubarb.
The hardest segment to tell apart
These seven shades cover the plums, burgundies and purplish browns, which is precisely the register where the eye gives up. Under the lighting of a workstation, a Jam and a Grapes look alike, when they give two different results on the hand. This is the envelope where the label is of the greatest service.
Dark shades need light
Seven dark shades in a row form an indistinct block under subdued lighting. Place this chart near a window or under your work lamp rather than in the waiting area: that is where the gaps between plum, burgundy and brown become legible.
How to apply them
Stick each label on the matching tip, on the side that does not carry the colour, before fixing the tip to the ring or fan. Label as you build without fail: in this register, identifying them afterwards is virtually impossible.
The back-to-work season
Demand shifts towards these shades from September and only falls back in March. It is the best-selling segment of autumn and winter, ahead of the nudes, and it justifies a dedicated display for six months.
On which skin tones
Plums and burgundies suit almost every hand, which is rare for such a deep register. It is an argument to use with clients convinced that dark shades do not suit them.
