Both are warm pinks and look alike in the jar. Frame Gel HEYLOVE First date contains more milky white: it reads as a delicate veil. Blush is more frankly coloured and is noticed immediately on the hand. Laid side by side on tips in daylight the gap is obvious; described over the phone they are indistinguishable. It is exactly the kind of pair that demands a physical display.

The warmth of pink corrects reddened hands

It seems counter-intuitive and yet the opposite happens. A cool beige pulls hands towards grey and underlines the redness at the cuticle. A warm pink harmonises that redness instead of contrasting with it, because it belongs to the same temperature family as the skin. On a client whose fingers are marked by cold or wet work, the difference shows every day for three weeks.

How to apply it

File at 180 or with a 100-grit buffer, degrease insisting under the cuticle and in the sidewalls, then let the dehydrator dry for thirty seconds. Lay the base with rubbing motions, level the surface and cure for 30 seconds. Dispense the material, apply the Frame Gel as an architectural layer or on forms, flash each nail for 30 seconds, then cure both hands for one to two minutes.

When to suggest it

All year round, with a peak in spring where its freshness accompanies lighter outfits. It suits clients who wear colour daily and want a complete set with no polish layered on top.

On which lengths

On short nails the result stays measured; on medium length the colour gains surface and becomes markedly more visible.

This formula contains neither HEMA nor Di-HEMA, so it falls outside the European restriction that reserves those two substances for professional use.
