Brown Rose mixes brown and pink in a taupe register. Neither quite one nor quite the other, it occupies an in-between that explains its easiness: it agrees with almost every skin tone without ever imposing itself.

One of the rare browns that does not harden fair hands

How to apply it

Dry the plate with pH Bond HEYLOVE, apply Ultra Bond HEYLOVE to the edge and wait for it to set in the open air. Thirty to sixty seconds of lamp for Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear. Shake, then Brown Rose in one or two thin coats of one minute each.

It makes an excellent everyday flat colour and an unusual but successful French base, where the white smile line contrasts without harshness. In baby boomer it serves as a deep base under a paler tip.
