Gel Polish HEYLOVE Dust: the bluish grey of the Basic collection

Dust is a pale grey run through with blue. That cool cast gives it a markedly more contemporary look than a neutral grey, while staying in a discreet register compatible with any professional setting.

Warm or cool: the test that settles it

Faced with two pale greys, the client hesitates every time. Look at the inside of her wrist: if the veins look bluish, her undertone is cool and Dust will blend in naturally. If they lean towards green, the undertone is warm and Wool will be more flattering. That ten-second test makes the advice credible and avoids redoing the set.

How to apply it

Cleanse the plate with pH Bond HEYLOVE, lay Ultra Bond HEYLOVE on the edge and let it set in the air. Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear needs 30 to 60 seconds of lamp. Shake, then Dust in two thin veils of one minute each. Pale greys reveal the ridges of the plate: sort out the levelling before the colour.

Who to recommend it to

Clients who work in environments where colour is frowned upon, and those who find beiges too flat. Pale grey has the advantage of looking deliberate where a nude can pass for an absence of choice.
