Gel Polish HEYLOVE Mouse: the anthracite of the Basic collection

Mouse closes the grey family on the dark side. A deep, slightly bluish anthracite that approaches black without ever reaching it and keeps a perfectly identifiable reading as a grey.

Anthracite or black: what the nuance changes

Gel Polish HEYLOVE Off is a frank black, no discussion possible. Mouse keeps enough light for the reliefs of the nail to remain visible, which considerably softens the result on a slender hand. At conversation distance the two look alike; on the hand, anthracite looks markedly less severe and suits a clientele that black puts off.

How to apply it

Clean, dry with pH Bond HEYLOVE, lay Ultra Bond HEYLOVE on the edge and let it set without the lamp. Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear cures in 30 to 60 seconds. Shake, then a thin veil of Mouse for one minute is usually enough. Go over the outline with a brush before curing.

On which lengths

Very dark greys visually refine the hand and lengthen a short nail, which makes them a good choice on stubby or regrowing nails. On long nails the effect becomes more solemn and demands a perfectly clean outline.

Who to recommend it to

Clients who wear black all year and want a less clear-cut variant, and those whose professional setting tolerates frank black poorly. Anthracite passes anywhere black would look too marked.

When to wear it

From autumn to spring, accompanying dark clothing. It works remarkably on short nails, where it visually lengthens the hand, and carries silver decoration that extends its coolness.

Which top to finish with

Gloss gives a lacquered depth close to a black. Matte turns it into a soft, velvety anthracite, much less severe on the hand.

How many bottles to plan for

Dark greys turn over mainly from October to March. Plan this reference in September rather than in spring.
