Gel Polish HEYLOVE Rooibos Tea: the brick red of the Basic collection

Rooibos Tea sits on the red side of the brown family. A dark, warm brick, to which its name does perfect justice: it is exactly the shade of a red tea infusion held against the light.

A colour with no equivalent in pure red

That is what justifies its presence in an assortment already supplied with reds. The reds of the collection are all crisp and cool, or frank; this one is earthy, loaded with brown, and worn in a completely different register. It accompanies camel and beige wardrobes where a classic red would clash with them.

How to apply it

Clean and dry with pH Bond HEYLOVE, lay Ultra Bond HEYLOVE on the edge and wait for it to set in the air. Thirty to sixty seconds of lamp for Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear. Shake, then a thin veil of Rooibos Tea cured for one minute already gives a dense ground.

What to pair it with

It makes a coherent progression with Gel Polish HEYLOVE East on the pale side and Gel Polish HEYLOVE Brandy on the deep side. Gold decoration finds its place naturally, silver far less.

On which hands it shows best

It particularly flatters deeper and tanned skin tones, where the earthy quality extends the complexion. On very fair skin it stays lovely but gains contrast and reads visually closer to a red.

When to suggest it

From September to March, where it accompanies autumn wardrobes. It is also a pedicure colour that works remarkably well at the end of summer, on feet still tanned that it extends naturally.
