Gel Polish HEYLOVE Rainy day: the mauve taupe of the Basic collection

Rainy day lives up to its name: a taupe run through with mauve, grey and cool, evoking the light of an overcast day. It is the deep version of what Soul offers in a pale register.

Soul or Rainy day

Both shades belong to the same cool family and differ only in density. Soul is a very pale lilac, almost erased, worn as an invisible nude. Rainy day is markedly denser and reads as an assertive colour. On the same client both work, but not in the same circumstances: one for every day, the other when the manicure has to be noticed.

How to apply it

Cleansing with pH Bond HEYLOVE, primer Ultra Bond HEYLOVE laid on the edge and left to set in the air, then 30 to 60 seconds of lamp on Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear. Shake, then Rainy day in a thin coat of one minute, generally enough.

In nail art

Mauve taupe makes a remarkable ground for fine white linework and silver decoration, which gain a contrast warm nudes often blur. A fine liner on a single finger is enough to structure the set without ever overloading it.

On which hands it shows best

It particularly flatters cool skin tones, where the mauve naturally extends the visible veins at the wrist. On warm skin it stays wearable but reads more brown than mauve.

When to suggest it

From autumn to spring, where its coolness agrees with the seasonal light. It is one of the most requested shades in the range among a clientele attached to neutral, contemporary tones.
