Why this pink sells itself

Straight pinks come through every trend without ever disappearing. They answer a stable demand, often tied to specific occasions: birthdays, holidays, end-of-year celebrations for younger clients. It is a shade that turns over quickly in stock and one you would rather not have out of supply in spring.

How to apply it

After pH Bond HEYLOVE and Ultra Bond HEYLOVE, apply Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear, cure for 30 seconds, then one or two coats of Gummy at 60 seconds. Its pigment density often lets you stop at a single coat, which leaves a thin, comfortable set that wears well over several weeks.

The pinks of the range

HEYLOVE offers several registers. Tint Base HEYLOVE Lotus, in the Awaking collection, is a more powdery candy pink. Tint Base HEYLOVE Peony, in Sweety, leans towards milky coral. Gummy is the straightest and most saturated of the three. The distinction plays out in saturation rather than in hue: it is well worth showing them side by side on three aligned tips rather than trying to describe them.

Which clients it works for

It particularly appeals to younger clients and to those who embrace colour day to day. On very short nails it gives a crisp, joyful result; on long nails it becomes decidedly demonstrative, which may be exactly the effect wanted before a wedding, a birthday or a departure on holiday. Keep it toward the front of your display: bright pinks are chosen far more often when they are actually seen rather than merely described.
