Smart Gel HEYLOVE Clear: the transparent builder gel

Clear opens the Smart Gel range with its most neutral version. A liquid builder gel, applied with the brush straight from the bottle, which changes nothing of the colour underneath it.

Three uses in one bottle

The brand presents it as a complete material, and that is accurate. It allows extension on upper or lower forms up to medium length, strengthening of the natural nail as a protective overlay, and the repair of a broken corner or the correction of a square that has grown too short. For a salon starting out in building, that avoids buying three separate products.

Why start with the transparent one

This is the shade you learn architecture on. Nothing masks the shape you are building: the apex, the thickness at the free edge and the side walls stay visible at every moment. On a milky or coloured gel, those flaws only appear at the final filing, when it is too late to correct them without losing material.

How to apply it

File at 180 or with a 100-grit buffer, remove dust with cleanser, insisting under the cuticle and in the side walls. pH Bond HEYLOVE evaporates in 30 seconds. Lay a thin coat of Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear worked in by rubbing, then a little material to smooth, and cure for 30 seconds. Remove the dispersion layer from the base before continuing. Then apply the Smart Gel as an architectural layer, flash cure for 30 seconds, then cure both hands together for one further minute.

A material that does not heat up

This is the argument your clients will remember. The brand states that Smart Gel causes no sensation of heat in the lamp. On a client with thin or already sensitised nails, that absence of a thermal spike completely changes how the appointment feels and often justifies the change of brand on its own.

Which format to choose

The 15 ml suits testing or occasional building work. The 30 ml addresses salons doing length every week: at equivalent volume the price per millilitre is better, and the transparent is precisely the reference that empties fastest since it serves on every set.
