Tint Base HEYLOVE Rain: the frank blue of the Sweety collection

Rain makes no concession. A crisp, luminous blue, with no grey or violet to soften it, which reads immediately as a chosen colour.

Blue is offered, not requested

It is the observation of every salon: blue rarely appears in spontaneous requests, but it wins clients over as soon as it is shown. Pull the tip from the display yourself and offer it as an accent on one or two fingers. A client who would never have asked for blue willingly accepts two nails of it, and often comes back asking for a complete set.

How to apply it

Degrease with pH Bond HEYLOVE, lay the acid-free primer Ultra Bond HEYLOVE on the free edge and let it dry completely. Apply a coat of Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear as a foundation, cure for 30 seconds, then one or two coats of Tint Base to cure for 60 seconds in a UV or LED lamp before the top coat.

One coat is enough

That is the central argument of these tinted bases and it counts double on a vivid colour. The pigmentation is dense enough to cover the free edge in one pass, where a classic saturated colour often needs two thick coats. You save time and avoid the excess thickness that betrays poorly mastered coloured sets, particularly visible at the cuticle.

With which decoration

Silver linework and fine white lines stand out clearly on this ground, while gold creates a warm break with little coherence. A fine liner on a single finger is enough to structure the whole without overloading.

When to suggest it

From May to September mainly, where it accompanies holidays and tanned skin. Order in spring so it is available in season.

How many bottles to plan for

On a display collection, one bottle per shade is plenty to start with.
