Jolly Green stands out from the rest of the family. Where Grass, Cactus, Hunter and USD darken and grey down, this one stays radiant, in a true emerald green that evokes the stone of the same name.

When to order it

Requests for saturated greens concentrate on November and December, with a very marked peak as the holidays approach. It is a reference to plan for in September so it is available at the right moment, and one there is no point pushing in spring, where it simply will not find takers despite its quality.

A party colour rather than an everyday one

Its intensity makes it an occasion shade. It gets noticed immediately and suits end-of-year celebrations, evenings and events, far less an office set. That is a use to embrace rather than work around: presented as the Christmas colour of your chart, it sells markedly better than presented as one green among others.

How to apply it

After a pass of pH Bond HEYLOVE and Ultra Bond HEYLOVE laid on the edge then dried on its own, Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear needs 30 to 60 seconds. Shake, then Jolly Green in two thin veils of one minute. On saturated greens, an uneven coat creates a very visible marbled effect.

What to pair it with

Gold, without hesitation: it extends the festive spirit and creates a classic but effective warm-cool contrast. Silver also works, in a cooler and more graphic register.

On which lengths

On short nails it stays crisp and surprisingly wearable. On a long almond, the saturation takes on its full scale and the result becomes frankly spectacular, which is worth announcing before starting.

Who to recommend it to

Clients who carry colour and want a shade nobody else in the salon is wearing. It photographs remarkably well.
