Coin Gel HEYLOVE Gold White: the warm glitter of the Coin Gel trio

Gold White combines white, silver and gold particles in a thick clear gel. It is the brightest of the three Coin Gels, the one closest to champagne: the gold warms the mix while the white and silver stop it turning yellow.

A gel in a jar, not a glitter polish

The difference is structural and it changes how you work. A glitter polish deposits whatever the brush happened to pick up, and three passes are often needed to reach a decent density. Here the material is thick and clear: you take it with a spatula or a flat brush and place exactly the amount you want, exactly where you want it. Full coverage comes in one coat, and a graded density is just as easy by loading the free edge more heavily.

How to apply it

Standard prep: pH Bond HEYLOVE, Ultra Bond HEYLOVE, then a coat of Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear cured for 30 seconds. Lay Gold White in a thin coat and let the material settle for a few seconds before curing: the consistency is self-levelling, and working it with the brush only creates furrows. One to two minutes of curing depending on thickness.

Sealing is what makes the difference

A glitter gel creates relief, and a top coat applied normally leaves the surface rough to the touch. Two options: either a generous coat of Top HEYLOVE No Sticky worked without pressure, or two thin coats with curing in between. The second takes longer but gives a genuinely smooth finish, which matters on a set the client will spend a month touching.

In extensions

Its density lets you encapsulate it within the build rather than sitting it on the surface. A thin coat between the base and the builder gel gives glitter set into the mass, protected from wear, with a depth that surface application never delivers. This is the kind of service that charges above a standard set and takes barely five extra minutes.
