Flash Fish HEYLOVE #2: silver and anthracite

Flash Fish #2 pushes contrast to the limit of the range. Silver hexagons stand out against a ground of anthracite particles with a blue cast, and the difference in value between the two creates a noticeably harder effect than on the other references.

The evening glitter

That is its role. Silver and black is the only combination that works equally well with a black outfit, navy or grey, which is to say with most evening wardrobes. December requests converge almost entirely on this register, and having this reference avoids offering a gold that would clash with the dress.

How to apply it

Degrease with pH Bond HEYLOVE, apply Ultra Bond HEYLOVE, then a coat of Rubber Base HEYLOVE Clear cured for 30 seconds. Place the material and let it settle for a few seconds before the lamp. One to two minutes of curing. On this reference, the dark particles hide irregularities in the ground less well than pale shades: take care over the previous coat.

The ground decides the result

Over a clear base the anthracite stays light and the nail plate shows through: a graphic, fairly discreet finish. Over a black base the dark particles blend into the ground and only the silver remains, producing a constellation effect that is very different. Two distinct services from one jar, to show on tips before letting the client choose.

The finish

A generous coat of Top HEYLOVE No Sticky applied without pressure is enough for a moderate load; beyond that, two thin coats with curing in between give a genuinely smooth finish. That is what the client will judge by touch for a whole month.
